Our story, our mission, and the people behind New Zealand's favourite free reef-themed social casino.
Reef Game Hub was born in 2024 from a simple idea: what if casual gaming could be completely free, entirely safe, and visually stunning? Our founding team — a small group of New Zealand game designers, artists, and marine life enthusiasts — came together with a shared passion for the ocean and a belief that entertainment should never come at a financial cost to the player.
We noticed that many online gaming platforms leaned heavily on monetisation, pushing players toward in-app purchases, loot boxes, and real-money mechanics. We wanted to create something different. A place where you could enjoy beautifully crafted games without ever reaching for your wallet. After months of development and design, Reef Game Hub launched with five hand-crafted games, each inspired by a different aspect of reef life. From the spinning reels of Reef Reel to the arcade thrills of Current Chase, every title was built to be fun, free, and easy to pick up.
